What Do I Teach?

I teach how to use the essential items of a first aid kit. I do this though the use of videos that I recorded and edited myself.

Absorbent Compress Dressing

Super absorbent wound dressings 

designed to treat highly exuding wounds and protect them from exposure to the environment.

Adhesive Cloth Tape

Cloth tape is an adhesive tape made with a cloth backing to make it durable and flexible.

Antiseptic Wipes

Antiseptic wipes are used for sterilizing as they kill germs effectively.

First-Aid/Space Blanket

This is low-bulk blanket made of heat-reflective, thin, plastic sheeting. They are used by people for thermal control.

Nonlatex Gloves

It is gloves that have no latex protein content and is more resistant to tearing

Scissors

Medical scissors are specially designed scissors for cutting sutures, clothing, skin tissue, and bandages.

Sterile Gauze Pads

Sterile gauze is the basic tool used to stop bleeding and keep wounds clean. It treats small to medium cuts, burns, scrapes, and other wounds

Tweezers

Tweezers are small tools used for picking up objects too small to be easily handled with the human fingers.

Adhesive Bandages

Small medical dressing used for injuries not serious enough to require a full-size bandage

Antibiotic Ointment

This combination product is used to treat minor wounds (e.g., cuts, scrapes, burns and mild skin infections)

Aspirin

Aspirin is a common drug for relieving minor aches, pains, and fevers.

Cold Compress

It's to cool an injured area, which protects body tissue by slowing metabolic rate and reducing swelling around the injury.

Hydrocortisone Ointment

Hydrocortisone ointment is used to treat redness, swelling, itching, and discomfort of various skin conditions.

Roll Bandage

A roller bandage is used to immobilize injured body parts, provide pressure to control internal or external bleeding, absorb drainage, and secure dressings.

Oral Thermometer

An oral thermometer is used to take your temperature in your mouth
